Oliva Gallery is owned and operated by Kimberly Oliva. Born and raised in Chicago, Kimberly developed an appreciation for history and design at a young age. She has a professional background in floral design, interior design, and merchandising, and has been selling antique and vintage items for over a decade. After moving into a 1890s-era home in Logan Square, she became interested in preservation and neighborhood advocacy. In her free time she enjoys attending contemporary art exhibits, strolling the historic tree-lined boulevards of Logan Square and Humboldt Park, and road-tripping across the United States in search of fresh vintage inventory for Oliva Gallery.
Kimberly got her start selling out of a vintage red Cadillac at Chicago's Randolph Street Market and quickly became a veteran dealer of the city's market scene. As a young dealer, she worked hard to create a network of collectors and fellow dealers to achieve her dream of selling vintage full time. Kimberly has brought her wares to shows across the country including The Vintage Bazaar, Dose Market, The Burbank Fashion & Textile Expo, The Grand Rapids Antique Show, The Dallas Vintage Clothing and Jewelry Show, Michigan Modernism Exposition, and the biggest flea market in the United States - Brimfield. Initially drawn to fine jewelry and art pottery of the Victorian and Edwardian Eras, she has since expanded Oliva Gallery to include the best of 20th-century design in the form of fine art, lighting, home decor, and costume jewelry.
Oliva Gallery is an event space in West Logan Square featuring an open floor plan and over 700 square feet of customizable space ready to accommodate small receptions, meetings, and events.
The gallery is steps away from Mozart Park, features plenty of free parking on Armitage, and is conveniently located down the street from some of the hottest restaurants and bars in Chicago.
